Permissions
Why it asks for what it asks for

Image galleries live on every domain, so the extension can't hardcode a list. It reads the page you asked it to scan, takes the image URLs, and does nothing else with the page.
No permission is used for tracking, and none of them can be used to send data anywhere — the extension has no server to send it to.
